this time last month...

Wooho New Years one month anni. So yeah, New Years eve! Me, Sophie and Guy went and collected all the things we need for a night of cocktailing and went back to theirs for a few. Sam and Todd arrived back from NZ around 9 WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOO. Acouple of Guys work friendos came over and that was that. Cocktail time. I warned Sophie (as she has mad skills and is apparently cocktail master of the universe, YUM!) not to let me try mix up my own kind once drunk, buuuut around, I dunno, 2am I had a very black thick gross looking drink taken off me. Probably a good thing. I love cooking and baking, but mixology? Heeeeeellll no. I'm terrible. It was a good night, we had a prime spot from G&S balcony to see the fireworks on the London eye, prematurely count down 6 seconds early, and wait for the 24hour bus home for an hour before giving up and catching a taxi. FUNFUNFUN looking for-ward to the weeeek-end. So in other exciting news, I get to go to America! Awe...

Crystal Palace

some leftover bits of the Crystal Palace guy happy as always the station Last weekend me Sam and Guy went on a wee train ride to a place called Crystal Palace, which is about 20 mins from where we live on the train. It's a park that used to have a rather large building in it that was made of iron and glass, which they called the Crystal Palace. If you click on >Here<  Wikipedia will tell you all the details. Anywho, we took our bikes out for fun riding times, after a little complaining from me about the amount of stairs at Clapham Junction station and and boy was it a good idea. It was still freezing out there, ice and frost all over the show even tho it was about 3pm and had been sunny all day. The stairs and some of the fencey bits are still there, as well as some random sphinxes. We also rode down to this funny part of the park, the Dinosaur Court! srsly how can I have this happen again? my old birthday, woot! absolute favourite.  clarence doin' it a bit of tasman surprise!  all the way from back at my last birthday! oh such fun Oh it's just so exciting getting photos developed. From way back at my birthday! Taking Tasman to school! What awesome things to be reminded of. The other week I found a whole bunch of my favourite film, the tungsten stuff! YUSS! Can't wait to get that going again, hopefully it's as great as I remember, I've been looking for it for yonkers.
