Crystal Palace

some leftover bits of the Crystal Palace

guy happy as always

the station

Last weekend me Sam and Guy went on a wee train ride to a place called Crystal Palace, which is about 20 mins from where we live on the train. It's a park that used to have a rather large building in it that was made of iron and glass, which they called the Crystal Palace. If you click on >Here< Wikipedia will tell you all the details.

Anywho, we took our bikes out for fun riding times, after a little complaining from me about the amount of stairs at Clapham Junction station and and boy was it a good idea. It was still freezing out there, ice and frost all over the show even tho it was about 3pm and had been sunny all day. The stairs and some of the fencey bits are still there, as well as some random sphinxes. We also rode down to this funny part of the park, the Dinosaur Court! Crazy old sculptures of dinosaurs hanging out in the water/bushes etc. Coolest park, it was built in the 1850's and were the first dinosaur sculptures in the world. Preeeetty awesome.
