this time last month...







Wooho New Years one month anni. So yeah, New Years eve! Me, Sophie and Guy went and collected all the things we need for a night of cocktailing and went back to theirs for a few. Sam and Todd arrived back from NZ around 9 WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOO. Acouple of Guys work friendos came over and that was that.

Cocktail time. I warned Sophie (as she has mad skills and is apparently cocktail master of the universe, YUM!) not to let me try mix up my own kind once drunk, buuuut around, I dunno, 2am I had a very black thick gross looking drink taken off me. Probably a good thing. I love cooking and baking, but mixology? Heeeeeellll no. I'm terrible.

It was a good night, we had a prime spot from G&S balcony to see the fireworks on the London eye, prematurely count down 6 seconds early, and wait for the 24hour bus home for an hour before giving up and catching a taxi.

So in other exciting news, I get to go to America! Awesome! Well, my visiting visa is still not back, back I'm booked to go in 2 weeks so ah, fingers crossed. Pretty excited, even tho it is on Valentines day, and I do so love me some pretend holidays to cash in on, but not this year! Apparently the children fly really well so hopefully there's not too much drama with sore ears and no sleep.

We fly into Denver, Colorado for a week,  to do some skiing. Yep, skiing. I've never done skiing before, so hopefully I just get to hang with the kiddies in the noob class or something. Or just run around taking photos of the SNOW! Yuss. No snow in London this year, big disappointment. Then we are off to New York - HECK YEAH - for another week. Greer visitation here I come.  Then back home on the 1st of March, and it'll be only 2 weeks till my BIRTHDAY! YEAHHHHH!!!! Let birthday week begin early this year. Like now.

Me and Sam are off to Paris for my birthday, the big old 2-5. YUSS. So a pretty full on few months! Then Mash is moving over, we're all moving into a house, and the saving begins all over again. Huh.

Ok. Well, I'm off to do school pick up. Toodle pip.

Barcelona, my darling

that is a cube of ice in there. you'll know what i'm on about shortly grr, arg colourful Tarragona ooh ahh  a few locals lurking around And then there are about 3 or 4 films worth of photos between this day and the last, which is why the photo log skips 4 days... Matt and Lucy up Monjuic Tibidabo in the distance there Sam making some serious food decisions, before we found out the kitchen was shut Spain! Wow, ok. Flew into Tarragona. If you remember I came to Tarragona one other time, >AT CHRISTMAS< , when I was driving down the coast on my Christmas holidays.  Well this time we managed to find the amphitheatre, which juts so happened to be about 4 minutes from where we were staying for the night. Coastal fun

We booked this place a 20 mins drive from Levanto which is on the coast and close to Cinque Terre. The temperature in the mountains is juuuuust that little bit more bearable wth motorbike gear on hahah.
