rewind a bit

Ok, so time to rewind just a tad, and get a few other things on here that I meant to post but got all lazy about. first thing is...dun dun dun...all the way back to Iceland, Christmas time and New Years. Or what I like to call the new years part, worst holiday ever, coinciding with New Years. Hah.

So, them last bits of Iceland. I had written half a post about it, but now it seems just too far gone to bother. We went to this place kind of near the airport that was a super thermal area, all smelly steamy and bubbly. Just for one last look around on our way to the airport. Anyway, I'll caption the photos and not bother here.

And that is the end of that. Iceland. Fiiiiianlly right?

Moving right along...

Christmasssss. Man how awesome was this day! We had some friends come up from Brighton, and some others come over for the day too, so it was really lovely. Not really the warmth you guys in NZ would have been loving, but it was so fun anyway. Rory and me went and did a mass shop the day before, and even got a magnum of Moet for the day. Woop woop, feelin fancy. So Ellen and Simon brought up a leg of lamb, and my boss gave me this massive turkey, and after rubbing these two meats farrr too much and also having mine and Ellens hands inside the turkey at the same time (hah hah harrr it was kinda funny really) we managed to squish them both in our wee oven for the next 5 hours. And holy hell it was all so yummy. And most of the rest of the day was an awesome onesie filled drink fest (I got everyone onesies for presents, as you'll see in the photo) so that's about all I'll say about that. It was amaze. And Sam got me a remote for my camera too which is super awesdogs. Right, photos...
