Vesuvius at night!

Right, so now two weeks after writing that first bit haha...we got the train down to Sorrento, which was a cheap as chips 15 minute train ride away. the train station was packed out when we got there, full full full of Italian teens. All wearing blue jeans. It was like Woodstock or something. We'd rugged up to go, and it ended up being quite warm, like jackets and jumpers off warm, which was really good. It made walking around the coast great, and what a pretty coast it was. Quaint little houses and sun and rocky beaches. Great. It ended up being about mid-day when we were there, which meant most the shops were closed when we got there, after the walk around and about to get to the main town part. The thin streets and yellow buildings, old flaky buildings, orange trees all down the streets. So beautiful. We ended up at a little cafe in the sun, had a few beers, a bunch of delicious food, some random free starters. Hilarious waiters. All the foreigners ended up there haha, it was actually one of the only places we could find to be honest. Whatevs! It was yum as!

At the end of the day we caught the train back to Vico Equense, went up to our rad hotel, and chilled out with a super delicious bottle of wine - same as the night before -  (can't remember the name darnnn) and ordered some more room service, but only dessert. We got a bit worried because it was taking a while, but there was a huge football match on that night so we gave it a while...and then a while more..but then Sam actually rang and we felt bad as the lady in reception said something along the lines of, 'my grandma is just about finished making it'.
When it came, it was the best random Tirimasu dessert. And freshly churrned out of grammas kitchen! Score!

To be continued.
