The other week we went down to Winter Wonderland to have a looksee, and try a mulled wine. Sam was jonesin to go on the rides and rollercoasters, but YET AGAIN I was looking up thinking no-fricken-way. One day Sammyo, one day. Todd was telling us it was pretty much the exact set up of stalls/rides as Octoberfest, down to everything being in German, which I thought was kinda odd, they must just pack it up and ship it over cos it's easier or something. Ah well. We went to get a mulled wine from a bar that was a carousel slowly going round, and it was really cold out so the cups were all steamy and delicious smelling, so I went to take a sip and burnt my top lip and dribbled it everywhere. I had to stop and laugh at myself. Come on Alana. Anyway, the novelty wore off slowly going round and we went to watch the ice skaters, the rink was booked out sadly so we couldn't go, but ah well, next time...

We left for Scotland at 11 for the long drive north, following signs that actually said ‘The North’, which I thought was quite funny.   We drove past Sherwood Forest, which was near Robin Hood airport. Barcelona, my darling

that is a cube of ice in there. you'll know what i'm on about shortly grr, arg colourful Tarragona ooh ahh  a few locals lurking around And then there are about 3 or 4 films worth of photos between this day and the last, which is why the photo log skips 4 days... Matt and Lucy up Monjuic Tibidabo in the distance there Sam making some serious food decisions, before we found out the kitchen was shut Spain! Wow, ok. Flew into Tarragona. If you remember I came to Tarragona one other time, >AT CHRISTMAS< , when I was driving down the coast on my Christmas holidays.  Well this time we managed to find the amphitheatre, which juts so happened to be about 4 minutes from where we were staying for the night. We booked this place a 20 mins drive from Levanto which is on the coast and close to Cinque Terre. The temperature in the mountains is juuuuust that little bit more bearable wth motorbike gear on hahah.
