All the photos look a bit darker, as I took them from inside the car, and I think it has tinted windows hahaha, but eh.  I kept seeing things like the big yellow school buses and diners and  huge trucks and pickups and cowboy stores, and hearing stories like people from Colorado sometimes say they're from Granola Country or something like that, because they all retire early and come live here to work out like athletes and ski on weekends. Sunrise out my window So I'm on the flight as I write this first bit, 6 hours of flight time in. Not to shabby so far. Kiddies have been great - touch wood - and at the moment most people are asleep. Which I thought was weird, as in England it's only 7.20pm and in Colorado it's about lunchtime, but I guess, beat that jetlag before it hits or something. Anyway, I can't figure out if we are in business or first class, which is hilarious in itself, I would say first but I heard the guy across the aisle from me say something about it being business, so who knows what it's like up front! From where I'm sitting, in my creepy but handy single person seating arrangement - yes, that's right, them weird seats that fold down to be a bed. How. Handy. Last weekend it snowed! Finally! Not so much of a white Christmas buy a White Waitangi day. They're pretty good at forecasting it down to the hour here too, when it's gunna snow. Buuut yeah apparently I LOVE SNOW OMGSOMUCHWOW cos when it started snowing I was jumping up and down like a little child who's not seen it before.  I made this gif to show you how I was: So there you go. The night ended with fake Tequila shots (Gin just doesn't work like that) and about 30 of the same photo of varying snow levels. Wooho New Years one month anni. So yeah, New Years eve! Me, Sophie and Guy went and collected all the things we need for a night of cocktailing and went back to theirs for a few. Sam and Todd arrived back from NZ around 9 WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOO. Acouple of Guys work friendos came over and that was that. Cocktail time. I warned Sophie (as she has mad skills and is apparently cocktail master of the universe, YUM!) not to let me try mix up my own kind once drunk, buuuut around, I dunno, 2am I had a very black thick gross looking drink taken off me. Probably a good thing. I love cooking and baking, but mixology? Heeeeeellll no. I'm terrible. It was a good night, we had a prime spot from G&S balcony to see the fireworks on the London eye, prematurely count down 6 seconds early, and wait for the 24hour bus home for an hour before giving up and catching a taxi. some leftover bits of the Crystal Palace guy happy as always the station Last weekend me Sam and Guy went on a wee train ride to a place called Crystal Palace, which is about 20 mins from where we live on the train. It's a park that used to have a rather large building in it that was made of iron and glass, which they called the Crystal Palace. If you click on >Here<  Wikipedia will tell you all the details. Anywho, we took our bikes out for fun riding times, after a little complaining from me about the amount of stairs at Clapham Junction station and and boy was it a good idea. It was still freezing out there, ice and frost all over the show even tho it was about 3pm and had been sunny all day.
