Best Xmas present ever....
I was heading over to see Sam in Paris the weekend before I left for NZ, and he made the mistake of saying, 'Hey I was going to buy us tickets for Disneyland as your Christmas present...but then I didn't'...
Completely independent of all my waaaa-ing he surprised me anyway and got us tickets. So exciting. SO EXCITING. We headed out there an hour later than we were hoping to get out there, once a lazy-ass, always a lazy ass hahha, and I'm fine with that fact. The lines were longer than I anticipated, but a hell of a lot shorter than Hong Kong, according to a nice lady I was semi in line with. But oh! The fun! The sights! The rides oh my.
I'd been put off of rollercoasters after visiting >Vinpearl Land< in Vietnam with Sam on our way over to the UK in the beginning, so was a little like oh god am I really going on this ride that's theme seems to be 'rock and roll + Aerosmith, loosely based around that movie Armageddon' but boy was it fun. It's a shame they only go for I dunno, a minute or under, it was really cool. Just the wandering around was awesome, bumping in to the people dressed up as characters, not as many as I imagined, but hey I got a photo with Timon from the Lion King, which when our old flat decided to dish out who was who, I was him. Woo.
The only downer was the food really, don't judge us but we did pay something like €32 for two hot dog meals and some chicken nuggets. Wowza.
Anywho, it was wicked and we will defo go back one day, they recommend 3 days to get around it, and we only did one. Here are a few pics, again didn't take too many pictures as Sam had the camera! The square ones have been through instagram which is why they look a bit weird, and they're showing up out of order and I just can't be bothered to fix it.
Toodles!
