Same as last year I flew in to Auckland and went to stay with Claire in Hamilton. She picked me up from the airport with Tui her dog and we went straight on to her house. Our other friend Vomle was driving up from Masterton to stay the weekend too which was nice, so we just milled about eating burger rings and drinking beer till she arrived. 

The next day we headed out to JMs mothers farm to check out the cabin he's been building for the past year. ~On the way out there we stopped at the supermarket and Vomle surprised us with a bottle of that super awesome choccy milk that's all the craze up there at the moment. JM has his blog here >Cabin Man< if anyone fancies a look. So nice to drive in NZ again, with the farm and fields and no one on he roads, ahhh so good. With theeee most hilarious take off on the farm kubota with Claire at the wheel, we went looking for the cabin. Beauuuuutiful. I cannot wait to see it all finished. Such a nice spot, I think it's built where the was a little ruin of an old cabin in the same spot, that JM ripped down to use the sweet outlook. Jealous, it's very cool. 

After we each had a go at manning the kubota and feeding dogs and pretending we were helping, we headed back to Hamilton and out for dinner. I can't remember where we went but we ate good snacks and cheese and beers, then went to a sweet wee cocktail bar where Claire introduced me to a delicious cocktail called a Hudson or something, yummo. 

Then the next day boooo was my last day, so we went out for some eggs benny and a million gallons of hollandaise, and then parted ways with Vomle for another year, and drove off to Auckland. It really was a fantastic weekend, as simple as it sounds.  Miss youuuuus!

We left for Scotland at 11 for the long drive north, following signs that actually said ‘The North’, which I thought was quite funny.   We drove past Sherwood Forest, which was near Robin Hood airport. Barcelona, my darling

that is a cube of ice in there. you'll know what i'm on about shortly grr, arg colourful Tarragona ooh ahh  a few locals lurking around And then there are about 3 or 4 films worth of photos between this day and the last, which is why the photo log skips 4 days... Matt and Lucy up Monjuic Tibidabo in the distance there Sam making some serious food decisions, before we found out the kitchen was shut Spain! Wow, ok. Flew into Tarragona. If you remember I came to Tarragona one other time, >AT CHRISTMAS< , when I was driving down the coast on my Christmas holidays.  Well this time we managed to find the amphitheatre, which juts so happened to be about 4 minutes from where we were staying for the night. Coastal fun

We booked this place a 20 mins drive from Levanto which is on the coast and close to Cinque Terre. The temperature in the mountains is juuuuust that little bit more bearable wth motorbike gear on hahah.
