Bus to Nha Trang

This bus is about 5x better than the bus me and mash had to catch from Hanoi to Hoi An. For one, it has curtains. For two, it has pillows. And three, theres a little mattress over the dentist chair this time. Sounnnds better, but this driver likes to stop suddenly and the chair being that fake vinyl stuff and the mattress being cotton, I slipped everywhere. The night bus is a good way to get around, except if your a light sleeper. It gets quite stuffy in there, even with the air-con on. We stop at 11.30pm, just as everyone was going to sleep, at some food place. Then we are back on the road and I'm pretty sure I get to sleep easily, tho after reading a few chapters of my book. I'm woken up at I dunno what time by the bus screeching to a halt, and me sliding into the back of the chair infront of me. Beeeeeeeeeeeep, someone just wasn't moving fast enough. I don't think I'll ever use a car horn again after this trip, and if you've driven with me at the wheel you know thats a big thing to give up. Its just. So. Irritating. Especially at 4am. Ah well. I'm woken up at 5.30 by similar slipping events, but it's ok, theres a beeeeaaauuuutiful sunrise happening, the sun is bright red and just over the horizon. We drive on in to Nha Trang city beach area, and there is so many people up and running. Shops opening, more people on the beach at 5.30am than mid-day on the hottest day in Wellington on Oriental Parade. Playing badminton. Soccer on the beach. At 5.30am! Fair enough.
