Updates ahoy!
Hey guys! So finally a chance to write on this thing, things have been a little hectic the last few days, travelling round and not having a plug adaptor to use after everything went flat. But here we are, I'm currently on a train to Chiang Mai, it's an overnight sleeper train, pretty awesome, theres some guy walking around giving out orange juice. Anywho, from the beginning eh?
Day 1: The longest time I've spent in transit since it took 21.5 hours for me and sam to drive a dying van from Kaikoura. We were delayed in landing in Melbourse cos there was so much fog and had to fly around for an extra hour, lucky i had 3 to wait there anyway. Then a Very long flight, but relatively comfy. I moved from a ro w of 4 where I was sitting between 3 people to my own 2 seat by the window, good call. The flight landed in Singapore where I had to get out and go find the desk where I could get my new ticket...biggest airport ever. There was a sign saying it would take 7 mins to walk to the next desk...joises. and humids mcgee too, holy hell, I had to go take my jeans off in the loo-which was a crazy hole in the ground with hose attachment-or I may have keeled over. Anyways, got my ticket then off to Bangkok> grab my bag> get in taxi> get to hotel> check in> instantly go to sleep.
