Hanoi part 2

Righto so back from the boat trip. Boo. We don't really get up to much, just go for a wander around the place, it's weird cos there's so many people everywhere and shops galore, but it's surprisingly hard to find food. There's places everywhere, all over the footpath, but they're all so packed and there's no real indication of whos running  the show/cooking on the pot of coals in the corner...Anyway, the next day Mash beez a good tourist and goes on yet another tour, to the Perfume Pagoda, and me and Claire decide to stay in town instead. We went and got massages and pedicures hahahaha. The first time I've ever had a pedicure, I felt sorry for the poor lass, my feet were looking horrible. Too much walking and trekking and I could just never play with peoples feet all day. But they looked awesome after. Pity they already look average again from all the walking since hah. Ah well. I think if I was crazy rich I'd hire a masseuse to follow me round all day, it was so awesome. Except one part, CLAIRE YOU KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT YEAH?

We went off to the markets, and oh man, busy busy busy. There's 50 stalls of each kind of thing. So much stuff! Mash gets himself some fancy branded things and I fiiiinally find a headscarf, go me. It's really easy to get caught up wanting to buy everything, so we make a break for it 2 hours later and head back. The next morning we are woken up at 5.30am by my mum ringing me on skype...HI MUM! The time difference of 5 hours slipped from her mind for a bit haha. Then Claire has to get up at 6am anyways to get her flight back to NZ, so after some lame 'hey so are you guys guna hug in bed...harhar, from Mash, she's off! Hopefully the ash cloud stopping Sam doesn't get in her way!

Sleeeeep.

When we finally get up, my iPod wipes itself clear, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, I have a friggin 21 hour bus ride! What the heckles iPod thats not cool! I think I may cry. Waa. we go in search of some english magazines/books/crosswords for the upcoming bus ride. The only thing we could find in english was the Vietnamese economer and some crap golfing magazine from Australia. Bummer. We go to...haha...Fanny...for an ice-cream lunch, yuuuuum. Back to wait for the bus and whinge about my missing music some more, aaaaand we're off again.

NO! I didnt manage to fix it, yet, it's weird cos its saying there is 56gigs of 'other' on there, which is about half the music, but you can't find it to play it! Very frustrating.
